Chaz has been asking for a blanket since before he left on deployment. It was the wrong season for fleece here in TN so I told him he'd have to wait until I got some ordered. Well, I got a better idea in the process! I wanted to make him a blanket that reminded him of HOME and of his FAMILY. I saw that Walmart makes WOVEN blankets of a picture you send in. PERFECT.
Chaz FINALLY recieved it in the MAIL so now I can post it. Of course it was a surprise to him!
It was his FATHER'S DAY present but I just couldn't WAIT to give it to him!

Here is the actual blanket! It is huge!! It's funny cuz it distorts our faces depending on how it lays. Haha!
I really couldn't have been happier with it!
Marek LOVED it. He woke up from a nap and saw it laid out on the floor and about died! LIFE SIZE DADDY!! He was screaming and pointing and threw himself on the ground to give him KISSES. He was sad when I boxed it away to send to Chaz. Good thing Marek has his own little daddy blanket he sleeps with.
Yay!!! Well, Happy early Father's Day, Chaz! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I did love my blanket!!! It is such a perfect gift! I get to fall asleep wrapped up with my whole family! Thanks so much babe, it was a glorious surprise. I am glad it fit into the box, it was so big! Thank you for all that you do, you are a wonderful mommy and the perfect wife for me. You are certainly a Trooper babe and I know that none of this has been easy on you…but you are ever in my prayers and I hope you know that you do truly mean the world to me! Give those boys my love!

Oh Sara, it is sooo beautiful... Chaz, you will stay very comfy with your family watching over you and keeping you warm. They will be closer than ever to your heart now. God bless your little family. Sara you make cry with all your caring for your family and being so strong. The day will come when you can relax. I see your blog and the things you are doing with the boys and know you are the PERFECT Mother and Wife. We love you so very much.
