Marek's FIRST Movie

Our playgroup was going to see Shrek this weekend so I decided to take Marek! I was a little worried he wouldn't sit through it and get bored since he really has only sat through his Signing Time videos, so I prepped him. We watched all 3 Shreks the two days before we went. Marek immediately took to the cat "Puss in Boots." He sat through almost the entire movie at home! So, I still dared to take him and actually I was SOO EXCITED!

Once the movie turned on that BIG screen he was so into it. Once the movie started he went crazy SIGNING EVERYTHING he saw. "DOG, CAT, TREE, GRASS, DONKEY, MOUSE, WOLF..." He even saw things in the movie that I didn't see! He signed and said, "BABY!!" And sure enough there was a baby way back in the picture. He seriously signed the whole show.

This Shrek was a little on the scary/dark side so I was kinda worried when we were watching it. I am glad he didn't get scared or anything. I AM excited to take him again to another kid movie! He gets in free until he is 3! Alright! And when you go in the morning hardly anyone is there! Maybe I'll venture out with AMMON next time! We will see. Thanks Lisa for watching Ammon while Marek and I had some good quality Mom and Son time :)
