Utah at the Allen home!

A week and a half after Rayce was born we decided it was time to go see FAMILY.
So, we packed up the car and drove the 30 hours there. We were so excited we couldn't stop. We drove the whole way there, stopping only for gas and one lunch at Wendy's.
The boys did great. Ammon was the toughest and even he wasn't that bad.
We arrived first at Grandma and Grandpa Allen's house!!!

Here are some facts when we go to the Allen's house:
-Grandma will dress, bathe, rock, burp, sing, read, cook and change diapers for the boys. It's AWESOME.
-Every sibling will go out of their way to come home to see us and make it a BLAST.
-The brothers will compete in some kind of sport or game. This time it was fuseball.
-We will play either card games or board games. Most of the time it's both.
-Some kind of morning walk will happen. Cold, snow, rain, early morning hours... it is sure to happen. Even if mom has to go by herself! :)
-We will watch movies.
-We will stay up all night talking and laughing.
-The boys will go CRAZY over their grandpa.
-The Uncles will each try and brain wash the kids on who is the favorite uncle.
-Grandpa is sure to make popcorn with the boys. They LOVE it.

The famous phrase Grandpa says...
"Let's make some POPCORN, shall we!?"

Waiting for it to start popping....

This picture speaks for itself. It obviously started popping :)

The moment when no one knows if it will overflow... oh, the anticipation...!!! lol

Grandma being an awesome Grandma!

Ammo's classic face

This one too...

Showin' off his teeth.

The boys loved having Uncle Kage home from the Airforce Academy. They had him all to themselves!

Geared up ready to do something crazy.

This is a homemade harness by Chaz. Yes, I was a little worried.

Ready for battle

"Ammo, close your eyes. This could get hairy."

Harnassing up to repel off the balcony.

Going up

Ammo was totally chill. Marek was having the time of his life.

Helping both Grandma's make Christmas cards

Rayce's Great Grandma Elliott.

We loved being able to spend time with Grandma Elliott! We feel so lucky we were able to see her!

Wearing Grandpa's glasses.

Funny Fact: Marek thinks his Grandpa Allen is L. Tom Perry so he calls Grandpa L. Tom Perry all the time. Maybe even more than Grandpa! He also kept saying that Grandpa was his best friend and BUD. On top of THAT, he also slept with Grandpa almost every night we were there. Best buds for life? I think so.

(Siblings, if you have pictures of our visit please post them to FB so I can steal them and post them on the blog! Thanks!)

More blogging to come! I have a LOT!! But I can't sacrifice my sleep. Maybe once Rayce sleeps more then 3-4 hours at a time :) Until my next break...!

I've been hoping for some pictures of the baby- but you've been busy! Wow- I was thinking about taking a trip with the family like a week after this baby is born, but had talked myself out of it- maybe you can bottle some of your energy and send it my way! Looks like you had a blast!
