Gingerbread Houses!

Usually our Kunzler gingerbread making tradition is around Thanksgiving BUT this year our family back in Utah were kind enough to wait until we arrived there for Christmas so we could all do it together!

So, Let the gingerbread decorating BEGIN!

Ammon is sneaking off with the M&Ms already!
He also has Jaydenn's ruby slippers on. He is ALWAYS finding everyone's shoes to walk around in.

Starting to gather their candy. So many choices! They didn't know what to choose!

Surprisingly, Ammon actually understood what he was supposed to do. I thought he might be too young but he proved me wrong again! He saw his older brother do it and then mastered it himself. He only ate every other one! Go Ammo!

Grandma helped Marek out with his frosting. Marek wanted his to be perfect.

Grandpa made sure that they bought these green army candy men for Marek. He was right. Marek LOVED them. He carried them around the house before we even started. He made sure to let everyone know that they were HIS. He even sat on the bag so that no one could take them away from him. Where'd he learn that? lol

Having a blast. Who knew something could be so fun!?

Jaydenn and her cheez-it house!

Hoards of candy

The Christmas tree!

Stocking up on frosting. Mom made a TON!

He really took his time and was concentrating so hard. His house was a piece of art.

Placing his candies very precisely.

"I DID IT!!!"

A trait he learned from his father. (tongue)

To be continued...
