This is a HUGE, THICK, BLACK, PERMANENT MARKER.
That reads MARKS A LOT. Thanks for the heads up, Sharpie!
THEN I SAW MY COUCH!!!!
AND LET ANOTHER HORRER FILM SCREAM OUT!!!
AHHHH!!! MY CARPET AND COUCH!!! MAREK!!!
Then, I took a deep breath... sent Marek to his room...and grabbed my camera.
Marek, Marek, Marek. For the FIRST night EVER I decided to feed myself dinner first before I fed you and Ammon.
Well, THAT won't happen again. I take my eye off of you for ONE minute....
You are one crazzzzzy boy, love.
The thing that gets me is that he does these things RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! I am almost always in the same room as him!!! I just am not directly looking at him for 5 seconds and WALLAH something terrible happens.
Like, yesterday for instance. Wasn't watching him for ONE SECOND and when I turned my head back to see him, him and his buddy were KNIFE FIGHTING...WITH REEEALL KNIVES!!!! Marek had the sharpest knife known to man!!! CUTCO!!! I made sure not to hollar or yell as this would make them panic and surely kill one another so I kindly, most sweetly, went up to them and asked them for their knives. Can you say heart attack!!!? I STILL don't know how they got them!!! I think Marek probably squoze his arm into the SAFETY PROOFED cabinet slit. Good Gracious.
Let's not even mention the pen he drew all over the couch with the day before (windex takes that out.. no matter now..it is destroyed) or him getting stuck in his top dresser drawer, him breaking my pantry door twice and getting stuck in my mouse traps, or him eating chapstick, stretch mark cream, vaseline and crayon in the past few days as well. Not to mention either my torn blinds and ripped books, broken printer AND scratched dvds.
Okay, the last few were Ammon.
Boys. Boys. Boys.
I am blessed. I am blessed...... :)
I do love you, my VERY curious and EVER SO ACTIVE children. But I am so glad you are both so dang cute and irresistable. It makes you easy to love... even when we have days/or weeks like these ;)

oh my goodness, he DEFINITELY found himself the biggest permanent marker in the house. Sorry you have to deal with that babe, yikes. I wish ya didn't, but you are a total trooper. thanks for your hard work. We'll just get the couch reappholstered or something when I get home. Fear not!
Love you babe,
Chaz
Jaydenn drew smiley faces all over her doll house a few days ago and she is four. I still have pencil drawings on the wall in the front room that I haven't cleaned up from when she was three. Did I show them to you? :) Your a good mommy*. You couldn't have been too mad since you had witts about you to grab your camera and know that it was a memory to capture :) We can just imagine all the great things Marek will be a part of as he grows if he can keep up the same momentum. grandma loves him too! hugs
Oh, Sara. Bless your heart! I don't even know what to say other than we all have these moments... you just seem to handle them exceptionally well! I've said it before and I'll say it again, "you are super woman!!" Thanks for makin' me smile with the post about merek's spider thing. SOOO CUTE!
My girls have been known to do the same kinds of things. If they weren't so cute we might sell them on Ebay ;-).
wow.. I promise it gets better. When Marek gets a little bit older, he'll stop destroying things as much.. Sorry about your couch..I'm glad I have removable slip covers...but I guess it wouldn't matter too much if it was attacked with permanent marker!
(when I was little, I got my little sister to help me empty the HUGE fishtank of water out one measuring cup at a time all over the carpet. My mom re filled it and I guess we did it again a week later. Then she got rid of the fishtank!)
