A shot from inside of our hanger. The Dynamic duo of the "Scout" and the "Gun" I like to think of the Apache as our star destroyer prowling above us waiting for a marked target so they can unleash with some 30mm or say a hellfire or two.
This is a big herd of "mosquitos" inbound to Afhangistan ready to get in on the action.

The real beauty of flying the Kiowa Warrior is the mission we participate in. We are the closest air asset to the studs on the ground who are fighting the fight in the dirt day in and day out. It was the attack/recon mission that drew me to the cavalry and remains the driving force making each day seem worth it.Only a few more weeks and I will be home, I really can't wait to see the family again and to be with loved ones. It will be like a little slice of heaven. I absolutely can't wait for the opportunity to be with my gorgeous Sara and handsome little boys. They are the greatest things that ever happened to me!
