Oh, my child.

Again, I LOVE my Marek... he just does not LISTEN! No matter what I say or do he will not listen. I try and give him consequences...time outs, spankings, the evil eye, positive reinforcement, etc... I've tried everything, to no avail. Jennie told me something a friend of hers did to get her to listen (and eat) so I tried it on Marek. This is how it went:

Marek wouldn't eat his food. Not by himself or with my help. So this is what I did.

Me: "Marek. DON'T EAT THIS CEREAL. DON'T DO IT!"
Marek: "Hahahahah." (grabbing the spoon)
Me: "MAREK DON'T DO IT!!! NOOO!!!"
Marek: "HAHA!" (He shoved the spoon full of cereal in his mouth)

And this is how he ate his bowl of cereal this morning.

AHHH!!!!

And here is the high chair picture I said I'd blog. Marek climbed up this on his own and this is how I found him. Looking over the tray (heart attack)....

and standing up on the tray. He doesn't climb up the SIDE he climbes up the FRONT. It is tricky! He has to climb up and over the tray that protrudes. Talent I say. Talent that I don't want him to have! Guess he takes after his dad on climbing.... or Pierce!! :) I think Pierce taught him a thing or two on how to climb and manuever hard obstacles :)

His face paint didn't wash off completely and this is how he went to church. Hehe.

A pic of Ammon Salmon
(this is what Jennie called him...and I always gave her a dirty look. I hate Salmon!)

But I LOVE my AMMON! :)

Ha ha...I may have to try that. Madeline doesn't listen either and she laughs in my face too. I must say I'm a little relieved to hear she's not the only one. ha ha. What to do?? Your little guys are adorable!

WOW! Our boys are getting big so fast! Marek is absolutely daring, our little "Indy Jones." Let's hold off on teaching him how to jump! Crazy kid. I love how he gets excited to hear and see me, it really makes my day (that and getting to see you sweetheart!) I'm so glad you think Ammon looks like me, he is Ammon CHAZ isn't he! :) I love you Sara, thanks for these updates. They are what keeps me sane, and keeps me going!
You are the greatest! Love- Chaz

Welcome to having a two year old...and Merek's not even 2! You're going to have a fun time with that one. My Cedar doesn't listen either, but he's getting better - I think he knows when I mean buisness. I can't see you upset so that's probably why Merek can't either. hahaha. Good luck!

Oh Sara, You certainly have your hands full. I am sorry to say that your blog is our Highlight of the day. We don't mean to laugh at your struggles it just brings back so many memories of our children when younger and Oh yes, I do remember a little one that was told not to crawl up the "open" stairs again, only to turn away for a second and YOU were gone up ALL 3 flights. When you got to the top you just grinned from ear to ear. After your Mom and I had a mild heart attack we got to you before any damage like broken bones, neck, etc., was done. I do believe the High Chair trick is passed down through you also. You were an adventurer and it sounds like you have one just like you. Oh, the stories I could tell.... (how much hush money have you got?)

It was soo good to see Chaz blogging. We love you so much Chaz...
