It was no accident! ;)

So this is what the nurse said to me when she called to confirm my pregnancy urine test was positive.

Nurse: "You were right! It was positive! You are pregnant!"

Me: "Awesome! I am so excited!"

Nurse: "Are you really excited though?"

Me: "Haha. YES....We actually planned it."

Nurse: "Oh."

It took me by surprise that she ACTUALLY said that to me but I guess that is the reaction you get in this day and age about young mothers and multiple children? Guess this is just the beginning to comments like that with kids so close together and my future 500 children ;) Bring it!

But for the record... We WERE trying to get pregnant! :) It was no accident!

And for those of you who are wondering what Marek and the baby's age difference will be...it's 17 months! Just shy of a year and a half! Chaz will most likely deploy in March so he will get to be there for the birth! Yay! I am so glad we got pregnant this month so that he could be there for it. Because even if he was going to get deployed and miss the birth we still would have gotten pregnant.... I must have 2 children while he is deployed to keep my busy and sane (or insane!)! :)

Way to go!!! Don't listen to those people....I'm sick of people being so worldly and not wanting kids! Kids are our greatest joy and motherhood is the greatest job we can ever have! More young people should be like you and Chaz:)

I was wondering how close they would be, my sister and I are 16 months apart, it's not bad at all. How have you been feeling? I've been kind of sick lately, Dave's not feeling hot, Cedar's nose had run away...Hope you're not in that boat. :)

Crazy what some people have the nerve to say! That OB nurse has probably dealt with so many suprise (unwanted) pregnancies that she forgot that there are people in the world who (gasp!) actually want children! :)

Just so you know...I've had both types of reactions....some where people think I'm crazy to have 3 kids being that I'm so "young"....and some who look at me and tell me I'm smart to have them while I'm young! I've also had a ton of people ask me if we're going to "try again" for a girl?! People can be so nosy!

Everyone is different. What works for you may not work for someone else. I'm sure Heavenly Father will bless you and Chaz for your desire to bring 500 (lol) children into the world. We all have different callings in life, right? People say the darndest things. I have a nice long list from when I was pregnant with twins.

Isn't that the truth! You should hear the comments I get even when I only have 3 of my soon-to-be 6 kids at the store... big families are a lost art. I hope everything keeps going the way you guys want... congrats!
