So this morning I saw a huge dead bug on the kitchen floor and thought to myself, "That is disgusting. I'm not going to pick that up...I'll wait for Chaz to come home and do it." Yes, I know. Way girly and lazy, but that was that.
Next thing I know I find Marek in the kitchen smacking his lips and chewing. I thought, "Oh SHOOT." I looked down to see that the bug was now GONE. I grabbed Marek's mouth and tried to force my finger in but he had locked his jaw shut and was hurrying to swallow so I couldn't get his sweet little treat. By the time I got my finger inside I only swiped out maybe 1/4 of the remnants of that disgusting bug. I almost threw up.
I hurried and got a popsicle out so he could wash the bug down his throat and when he opened his mouth for the popsicle I saw one huge WING and a... leg? Oh my goodness. So, for the record.... Marek has eaten his first bug and I'm sure it won't be the last...unfortunately.
And just two days ago I said to Marek while we were playing, "I wonder what crazy stuff you will do as a kid. Like if you will eat a worm or slug or stick your finger in a socket...." Guess I kinda jinxed him. Good thing it wasn't the socket!
I would have gotten a picture of it...but all you would have seen was a smiling Marek... ;)
