Rayman Elliott Allen *Rayce*

WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY!!!

Rayman Elliott Allen
7 lbs 3 oz
20 inches
Born at 4:31 pm

Namesake:
Rayman is his Great Uncle and Great Great Uncle on the Kunzler side. His Great Great Uncle Rayman served in WWII as a P-38 fighter pilot who died protecting a bomber plane returning over German occupied territory. His story is heroic and exemplifies his noble and brave character. A man we hope our litte Rayman will live up to. His Great Uncle Rayman was also an amazing man- my dad's only brother.

Elliott is on Chaz's side of the family. Great Grandpa Elliott. He served in Vietnam as an artillery commander and a member of the elite Marine Recon. He has been a close part of our lives and is one of the greatest men that we know. A true war hero, father, friend and Grandpa.

RAYCE- Rayce will be the name he goes by. It is pronounced "Race" but is spelled with a 'Y' in honor of his name Rayman. We love the name Rayce because it adds a little personality of his own and adds to our fun family flare :) Chaz also grew up watching "Johnny Quest" in which his favorite animated character's name was 'Race Bannon.' Enough said :) We love it!

Here are some pictures we were able to snap at the hospital. Once I get the chance I will be writing down Rayce's birth story in detail, so if you would like to know how everything went down... look for it soon! Here is the Run Down!

Ammon came running into the room and jumped on my bed and didn't leave my side. I thought he was here to visit the baby but what I didn't realize is that he missed me! I have never been away from him this long and I didn't think it would affect him. I was wrong! Wow, I felt so loved :)

Meeting Baby Rayce for the first time!

Marek was SO EXCITED. Ammo was a little unsure of him because he just realized he was no longer the baby ;)

Marek wanted to hold him right away. He then began rocking him (I never knew he even knew how to do that) and eventually started to sing him a lullaby. It was the cutest thing I think I've ever seen!

"Baby Rayce, Mommy!"

"This is baby Rayce, Mommy!"

"Wait! NO, I'M the Baby!!"

My 3 adorable boys

Who does he look like?

Loving his binky already!!

Stay tuned for many more pictures and the Birth Story!

(IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL VBAC!!! It was crazy...but so worth it!!!)

Haha I love Ammon's face in these pictures! And that's so sweet how Marek rocked and sang to him! Aw! Rayce is beatiful. He looks like you had him C-section just cause he's so perfect. Thanks for posting these! Congratulations Chaz and Sara! Can't wait to hear more!
