My Vita Mix!!!

It is here! The UPS man dropped it off right in time for dinner!! Soup!!

Right after I made delicious soup for dinner I made a green smoothie! After the smoothie I moved to making baby food! Bananas, Carrots and Sweet Potatoes!

I started to put them in gerber baby food containers to freeze but then saw another option, which is potentially better, to freeze in ice cube trays. Then you saran wrap it and once it is frozen you take the food cubes out and put them in a freezer zip lock bag with date and food label.

Marek enjoying his green smoothie! :)
This smoothie is made with lots of spinach, ice cubes, an orange and a banana (?) I think.

I also attempted to make scrambled eggs but it didn't quite work out because my tamper lid started to leak (yes, it was secure). So Vita Mix is sending me a new tamper lid to see if this will solve the problem. Good, cuz those eggs are good. I finished them on my stove. Yummmy!!

This is my new healthy obsession :)

Great job! Looks like a really tasty treat. I am glad the boys like it, they'll be just like Popeye eating all of that spinache!
Love you!

Sara, I thought I sent you a message on FB of my green smoothie recipe, but maybe I imagined it!
Anyway, here is what I do:
Blend spinach and Kale (more spinach than kale) in water until smooth. Add 1-2 bananas. Blend. Add my frozen fruits, or fresh- usually blueberries, strawberries, and fresh pineapple if I have it, that is what makes it SOOO Good!

But if I use more fresh than frozen, I add some ice to make it cold. Good luck! I'm so jealous of your amazing blender!

You must know how jealous I am that you have the vita mix. I have been obsessing with the machine for about two months now and have yet to buy it yet. Hopefully we can buy it soon!
