We had an awesome 4th of July celebration today! It is only the 3rd but since the 4th fell on a Sunday this year we decided to do the major festivities today! Here is our patriotic photo shoot with our wonderful American flag! Our family photo didn't turn out quite well... you know how that goes!
We dressed up all 4th of Julyish! Red, White and Blue all the way!
We made SOOO much food!!! IT WAS SOOO GOOD! Luke brought over his huge grill. Yummy!!! Steak and corn on the cob!? I was in heaven!!!
Marek husking corn on the porch. Rachel and Thad were hanging out and Casey got home from the hospital just in time for dinner and to play with his (the Park's) beloved doggies! Casey had been working for 2 days straight at the hospital so he was wasted!!!
FIREWORKS!!!!
We woke the boys up to do fireworks. Eli was super excited where as Marek just wanted to run inside! It took Marek getting his bike out to really wake him up and get him excited. He had fun shooting them off with me. I can't wait for him to see a real firework show! It'll be great!

Don't worry, Chaz. I will do our firework tradition. We will sit on a blanket waiting for the fireworks as we play games and eat red licorice. I'm missing you the most right now! This is our first holiday tradition you have missed since you have been gone!
