Went to the Doc today.
NOTHING.
They weren't even going to check me until I said, "Should I get undressed?" as the nurse was leaving the room. Because I asked, I got checked. The Doc was in the room for 3 min. She checked me and said, Cervix is closed. And then walked out the door. I said to the nurse, "Well what does that mean? Am I dialated?" Her. "Nope." Me. "Am I effaced any?" Her. "Nope."
Okay then! Well, looks like I am going to be in for the long haul DARN IT. They told me if I get to week 42 they are doing a c-section because they won't induce. Let's just hope it doesn't come down to that! I bet it won't. Heavenly Father loves me :)
Any guesses on when I'll have this baby? Due date is Feb. 6th.

Feb. 5th, midnight! Cervix open! Dialated to a 10! That's right Doc!! :) I sure hope so or even earlier for ya to not worry. :) And yes, Heavenly Father does love you. :) We all do. :)
I will hope and pray that Ammon comes before week 42!:) I bet he will come Feb7th elevenish?? fingers crossed
Sorry, and I love you but my guess is Feb 9th. Hope he comes soon though.. I need to hear all about a VBAC from you. Stay strong and We'll be praying for you!
I thought for sure with my second, things would happen faster, but they really didn't. It WILL happen when it's supposed to! Don't worry. Trust me, enjoy your last couple of weeks of what little sleep you can get! lol.. I know it's so tempting to just want the baby out NOW, though! Good luck! I'm predicting Feb 2...groundhog's day! lol. that's next week!
that sounds like a horrible doctor's office. Nothing at all like what my visits are like. That sure is opposite from my doc, he was insisting on inducing later this week. Crazy.
I hope he comes sooner than later. I have no guesses, for as you can tell, I'm not having any luck with my own. hehe.
Whatever. Just because you're not dilated doesn't mean you couldn't have that baby tomorrow. When you go into labor you could dilated from a closed cervix to 10 in an hour. It just depends on your labor. And that's crap that they won't induce. My doctor said he would at least give pitocin to get contractions started if I did a vbac. Your doc sounds like a tool.
That Dr. & nurse don't sound too friendly!! Sorry!! Hopefully it will get better and baby Ammon will be here soon! :D
