Sunday Sunday

Here's my lil' guy dressed and ready for church.

Boxes still exist in our home, of course.

I am beckoning him to look at the camera with candy. You can tell by his face he doesn't like the game. He just wants the stinkin' candy.

It was our first day at our new ward today! Marek did really well because sacrament meeting is FIRST this time, which is great. Too bad they are changing that in January. Towards the end of church he is always cranky. I didn't meet anyone really. That might be because I couldn't stay in RS with Marek... but I think it might be because our ward is a little shy at first. Hope they don't get frightened by me when I start going down the ward roster calling for friends (I might need a roster first though)! I gotta find Marek a play buddy. Even though I know he loves me.. I am also aware that he is bound to get sick of me. And I don't want him becoming too attached to me and cry when I leave the room and things like that...which I think he is starting to. Ah! Marek needs friends, ASAP! And wait, So Do I!!!

That's always the hardest part about moving! Making friends is so important! And it is easier when you can be upfront and just say, "I NEED A FRIEND!"
We are only here in MO for like 8 more months, and so far it hasn't felt the same as where we have lived before, I haven't made friends here as quickly, but its probably because I am not putting myself out there as much... So good job, and I'm sure you'll meet great people there!

It is so hard at first. You will never be able to replace the last place. I have found that out, BUT you are so outgoing and warm and friendly, you will make friends fast. Such a hard adjustment to make on your own.. We love you...

Just take the Southern Hospitality you learned here and apply it there. I think that's what I'm going to have to do when I get back...you know how UT wards can be. I thought the Curry's were there too...
