You can park for FREE at the AIR NATIONAL GUARD in Birmingham, AL and hop a taxi to the airport that is only a couple miles away. Just go there, park, and call a taxi. The gate guards are always very nice and helpful. Here is the info.

Oh, this is only for military since it is a military base. Spouses can go without their husbands. Just bring your ID to get in the gate.

be careful, I hear the air quality isn't that great - and they've been having lots of fires, fire season instead of hurricane - you can't win where you go...

Ahh I wish I was going to Utah... although I think you'll have a tough time with your hubby! I tried to go for a week without Daniel and he couldn't take it he drove to see us for the weekend ha ha! Good luck with the flight!
Nothing beats visiting family. Hey, we live in Utah too. Would be fun to hook up for a minute or two if you have the time but no worries if not. Our numbers are still the same for now. Bon Voyage!
