Tag, We're It!

So Chaz and I decided to tag ourselves :) We have read everyone's tags and it was pretty fun and interesting. We liked the Quirk one the best so we are now tagging ourselves so we can do it. We have been talking and trying to think of our quirks. It makes for good conversation :) For all those who don't know what "tagging" means it just means you tell a certain thing about yourself on your blog and then you ask like 5 other people to do it and write about that same certain thing on their blog...it is just fun and you get to know things about other people. You gotta have some spare time on your hands...and that is exactly what Chaz and I have, so we enjoy it :)

First off, Chaz and I had to determine what a quirk exactly was because it sounds like it is something bad and we certainly couldn't sit there and talk about our faults with each other! Turns out it is not bad.

Quirk: a peculiarity of action, behavior, or personality; mannerism.

So there you go. Now we can begin!

Sara's Quirks

1. I am anal about my teeth. I had braces when I was younger and I have a constant fear now that they could move again. I have nightmares about my teeth falling out even. I am so anal about my teeth that my quirk is that after 10 years I STILL wear my retainer...Every Night.

2. For some reason whenever I get in my car or someone else's car my hand almost automatically goes to their stereo where I turn DOWN their music. Even if it isn't even that loud I just turn it down a little bit more. I know. You would think I might turn it up to jam but no. I don't understand it but it is true. I try not to do it, especially if it is someone I don't know. I usually only find myself doing that if I am comfortable with the person but I am almost always thinking, "turn it down" in my head. I don't like noise in the car... (k, sometimes there is a time for it though...like when I put in my Hairspray CD).

3. I HATE snakes. I didn't even want to write that word. Now I will have nightmares about them tonight. You think I am joking but I am not. I wake up in hot sweats about them. If I see one I will freeze and start balling. When I walk outside I am CONSTANTLY looking for them to make sure I don't step on them. Believe me....constantly.

4. When I shower I always face towards the shower head because I am always looking out the curtain towards the door. Why? Because I am always afraid someone bad is going to come in and I won't be able to hear them until it is too late. I know every girl understands this one. When I wash my mascara off my face it is the scariest time for me because my eyes have to be shut. Chaz knows NEVER EVER to walk into the bathroom without hollering at me first so I know it is him and to NEVER EVER try to scare me. He walked in one time thinking I heard him (and I didn't see him because at this point I was washing my mascara off!!!) and he poked his head in the shower and said "Hi" and I literally almost died right there. I balled forever.

5. I don't eat vegetables.

6. I play before I work. This is a bad one! I like to procrastinate work and have fun. After dinner I always have to lie down on the couch and let the food 'settle' before I do the dishes. I just have to.

7. I looooove board games. I cannot even tell you how much. I play at LEAST one game a day.

8. Country music is pretty much the only music I listen to and I love the honky tonk stuff. It drives Chaz crazy although he admits to being entertained when I dance to it ;)

9. I would prefer to drive the car instead of being the passenger. Most people prefer me to drive as well because they know if I don't I will be the back seat driver instead. haha.

10. I take pictures of everything....as all of you know and see. I just love taking pictures.

Chaz's Quirks

1. Chaz is obsessed with movie trailers. He will always go on the internet and watch movie trailers. He loves to look up everything about them.

2. Right along with that one.... when Chaz watches a dvd at home he ALWAYS has to watch the special features. He won't turn off the movie without watching all of them. He will even watch them before he watches the movie, which ends up spoiling it most of the time.

3. He loves to clean and organize. If I am missing something I always go to him first and ask him where he placed it. His reply is always, "Where it is supposed to be." Which is true. I love this quirk of his. He is always vacuuming, dusting, twisty tying things, color coding, etc. I think West Point did this to him :) Love it!

4. Chaz lulls himself to sleep by rubbing his feet together. Without fail. And also when he finally is falling asleep he Flinches like a mad man. haha. He has hit me many times doing this. Sometimes it is comical.

5. You know when your toothpaste tube is getting low and you are squeezing it to get the most out of it? Well Chaz has a better solution. Just take your toothpaste tube and put it on the counter. Then get your rolling pin and roll the heck out of it until all of the paste is at the top. Then roll the excess tube to the top and put a clip on it to hold it in place. Walla! hahah. True Story.

6. He's a work out Guru. We have a jungle gym in our backyard. He always has to be working out or doing something physical. I like this quirk cuz he always looks great! :)

7. He wears his watch on the inside of his wrist. He says it is easier to see the time :)

8. He cheats!!! Yes, he cheats! Every time we play a game together he is always cheating! He always admits it and laughs about it but he will always try to cheat. His famous phrase is, "If ya aint cheatin' ya aint tryin".

9. Chaz listens to Christmas music all year round. This used to drive me up the wall but I have come to like this little quirk of his. If you have ever seen the movie College Road Trip the annoying girl on that reminds me of Chaz when she is singing Christmas songs in the summer and yells out, "I just LOVE CHRISTMAS!" and then laughs really loud and crazy. hahaha.

10. Chaz would eat french toast for every meal, every single day if he could. He looooves breakfast foods and has made it his number one obsession :)

Marek's Quirks

1. He HAS to have his soft blanket wrapped around his head for comfort. This is the only way he will fall asleep if he is not cuddled up on you. He can not live without his blanket. We have to be very careful and watch him always with it because he would suffocate himself with it if he could. That is how badly he tries to be one with his blanket.

2. He has to have a nightlight on at night or he will not stop crying. He's afraid of the dark.

3. Every once in a while, when his eyes are closed, he will open them to make sure someone is holding him. If he finds out he was tricked and no one is holding him anymore he will start screaming.

4. He loves to get a diaper change. Even if he is screaming bloody murder, if I lay him down and start changing his diaper he automatically stops crying. He loves the breeze? True boy i guess.

5. He is known for his sleep. He sleeps sleeps sleeps! This is the best quirk of all!!!! :)
