I'm finally posting!

These pictures are a week or two old. I haven't posted any recently because my stinkin' computer has been being slow and my editing program is not working, and stilllll not working. Oh well, time to stop slacking! Here ya go!!
I went out with friends one night and Chaz was sweet enough to stay home and watch Marek alone. I was expecting a call in the middle of my dinner saying that the baby was screaming and he didn't know what to do, but nope! My night was uninterrupted. I came home and this is what I saw. Chaz had put Marek in the backpack. He said Marek was screaming and nothing was soothing him (before I left I told him, "Now if the baby cries make sure his diaper is changed, that he has been fed..etc. Rock him, give him his binky, burp him, walk around with him, etc.). He said the backpack was his last resort before calling his mom and asking what in the world he was supposed to do. Well the backpack worked! Chaz said Marek went silent right when he put him in. So the whole 3 hours I was gone, Marek and Chaz were glued together. How cute. Thanks Jamie for the wonderful backpack!! :)

I took this picture one night Marek wouldn't stop crying. I had done everything to try to soothe him. Finally I grabbed this very soft blanket and put it around his head. He loved feeling how soft it was. So I wrapped him up in it so much that all you could see was his face. I guess it was more like I buried him in it. He loooved it. So, the backpack and soft blankets have become our best friends.

Just a little peep hole so he could breath.

Chaz and Ben participated in an Adventure Race here in Alabama on Saturday. They camped out the night before with a lot of their friends that were also racing. Chaz and Ben were on a team. They named themselves the "Tallen team,"combining their last names Taylor and Allen. They were up against more than 200 contestants. Professionals come from all over the place to race in it. Chaz and Ben were just hoping to finish the race being against these pros. In the race they had to run, mountain bike, kayak, jump off a cliff, rapell, answer math questions and do archery. It ends up, to their surprise, they finished with the time 3 hours and 32 minutes. They got Second place for their age group and team competition!!! They were thrilled. They got prizes for their efforts and of course they earned a little bit of pride :) Now I am hearing that there is another Adventure Race in Tennessee this month on the 18th. Sounds like they will be doing it again in just a couple of weeks!

Marek was pimping it one day. What a cutie.

His funny face he makes. Love it!

This picture was a week ago. He is so much bigger now. I will have to get some more recent pics up. I have been slacking due to my slow computer and editing program that is not working!

We got dressed up to go out that night that Chaz watched the baby. We went out to eat with some friends. It was a lot of fun.

Mikito needs attention still. He wishes he was the baby. He really, surprisingly, is good with Marek. That being he doesn't even pay attention to him. He ignores Marek and doesn't go near him. I think this is the closest he has ever come to him, even when I have tried to get him closer. Notice how he is not turned towards Marek. I think he refuses to accept the fact that we love someone else more than him. Haha.

This is the bath towel that Grandma Allen made for Marek. It has a little hood on it. Marek loved it, especially the taste of it :) Thanks so much, Mom! He is adorable wrapped up in it.

Marek is just so stink'n cute...I wish I could hold him!! And, I must add, that you (Sara) look so good...beautiful!

Oh...and I'm glad that Marek liked the little pack...at least once. He'll probably get sick of it soon! :) Seems like babies are just too smart for their own good...they know when their not being held in Mommy's arms!
