Marek is here!!! I had him just a couple of hours ago! I am in the recovery room with my family. Chaz is holding sleeping Marek next to me in my bed. Marek is ADORABLE. He has a FULL head of hair! He weighs 6 lbs. 10 oz. and is 20 inches long. He doesn't have any web toes like me, lol. He has a beautiful little smile and big hands and feet. We haven't discovered any birthmarks yet. I breastfed him and he did great! Oh we are so lucky and blessed!!
The surgery went well. The IV wasn't too bad and the spinal block was just about the same. Chaz and Mom got to be in the room with me. It was so precious to see Chaz hold Marek for the first time. Unfortuntely, I didn't get to hold Marek for about an hour afterwards because I was getting sewn up and he went to the nursery to get bathed and stuff. BUT, that is okay. I loved that Chaz was able to be with him the entire time.
Anyway, we took tons of pictures but I will downlaod them later. Marek is hungry!!!

Marek is sooooo cute!!! i'm so excited for our little guys to finally meet each other!!! hopefully it will be sooner than later! Sara let me know if you need anything this weekend
